Who is bluetrails ? Who would enjoy a bluetrails vacation?
Who is bluetrails?
bluetrails is a family business. We live in North Carolina and purchased a cottage on the South Shore about 17 years ago. We have traveled the area extensively for 25 plus years. I am always planning our next trip back, sometimes even before we leave. When we are there, we eat better, breathe fresh air, get more exercise, sleep better, and walk more. I'm nicer, I'm happier and just overall a better me. I never tire of the fresh air, the scenery, the people or the food. ( Sounds like a vacation).
I always say " North Carolina is where I am but Nova Scotia is where I want to be."
(Especially in the summer time!)
Who would enjoy a bluetrails vacation?
I recently sent out a few flyers to people looking for a vacation that is customized, unique, distinctive and affordable. To people who enjoy fresh clean air, walking a little or a lot, beautiful beaches and headlands, exceptional scenery, mild summer temperatures, history, art, music, festivals, star filled skies, great food, wine and craft beer, kayaking, fishing, local shopping and culture, having a full agenda or floating in a kayak on a misty afternoon, AND friendly people, to name a few.
bluetrails is a coastal experience, coastal trails, coastal towns, coastal tastes
If you want to see all of Nova Scotia in a week, this is not the tour for you. We will not bus and ferry you all over Nova Scotia. You will not spend most of your time in a bus or car. You have a home base and you will explore from that home base. We do not drive through the South Shore and hit the highlights. We explore the South Shore, like I have done for more than 20 years. After a vacation with bluetrails you will want to come back.
