Due to the Volkssporting response last year, we will have 2 sanctioned trails for 2016. The trails are the Lockeport Trail and the Keji Trail. We do plan on adding the 5 other sanctioned trails and 15 pending, should Volkssporters request to do so. Thanks.

I have attempted to make a mobile version of the directions, maps, and information needed to complete the sanctioned trails. If you are interested, email bluetrailsns@gmail.com or complete a contact form in the footer and I will forward the link to you. Saves a lot of paper. Thanks.
A part of me wants to tell people about the South Shore and a part of me wants to keep it a secret.
There is a website called WhyHere.ca that is all about the South Shore and has links to several towns. Another new website is shelburneandlockeport.com, which highlights tourism in the Towns of Shelburne, Lockeport and the surrounding area. There, that's the part of me that wants to tell people. The part of me that wants to keep it a secret can only say, come visit and you will understand. I would like to thank the Nova Scotia Tourism Agency for their assistance and for the opportunity to participate in their promotion of Nova Scotia tourism. Please visit bluetrails on:
www.novascotia.com click on packages and chose: Arts and Culture OR Eat and Drink OR Relaxation OR History OR Outdoor Adventure Then chose location and a region - South Shore Here you can view all the packages available or Chose a community under region - Lockeport bluetrails is titled as coastal trails, coastal towns, coastal tastes Enter the listing by clicking the picture. I would also like to mention that many of the daily excursions that we utilize are listings found on this website under all the main tabs, Explore - See and DO - Eat and Drink - Places to Stay - Packages - Events. Thanks, Annette Here is an update on the types of extra activities we are currently scheduling for our August visitors:
