The 2017 reservation period is now over. We will be posting an updated schedule for 2018 in October. I will also be deciding what trails to sanction for Volkssporters in 2018. Thanks. Annette

Due to a recent request, we will be sanctioning additional trails on the South Shore for the 2018 season. The 2017 trails will be continue to be sanctioned also. 
We are gearing up to visit in April and get a few things started. Hope all the snow is melted ! Or maybe not. Snow on the coast is very pretty. Thanks.

A sunset in Broad Cove

Beaches and lighthouses, blue skies, blue water, mid seventies for the high temperature.
Summer and Fall in Nova Scotia is the place to be.

During a recent visit to Mahone Bay, someone needed a little coffee in the late afternoon. She claims it was the best coffee ever !!! May was a great time to visit. We enjoyed blue skies, warm days, cool nights, FRESH AIR, daffodils, and many a walk with the sun so bright and the water so clear, that it looked like the ocean was littered with diamonds. Looking forward to the coming season.

There is once again, ferry service, from Portland, Maine to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

 A few updates about the website. A new tab called Covewoods Cottage has been added. This is a rental property available for 4 weeks in 2016, during the month of July. Reservations can be made through the airbnb website. (http://www.airbnb.com/), starting at the end of January 2016.
